Who We Are:

A full service home building company, Old School Design - Build, LLC is dedicated to providing quality homes for clients in and around Asheville, North Carolina. We strive to design and construct homes that pay homage to the aesthetic beauty of this area and give the community a house of unique artistry for decades to come.
	We are a small company on purpose. High quality finishes and traditional craftsman touches require the devotion of a skilled craftsperson who literally puts heart and soul into the structure. We build one at a time, ensuring the quality sings through each nook and corner of the home.
Each Old School house is certified through the North Carolina Healthy Built Home Program, assuring its occupants they are in the most energy efficient home constructed today. We employ technologies such as active solar hot water systems with radiant floor heating, high efficiency air conditioning, whole house ventilation, and low VOC finishes to ensure optimum comfort and air quality inside. We are proficient in providing local, reclaimed, natural and sustainable materials to use in the construction of each home.
	At Old School Design - Build, we have come from trying to make a green home affordable to build and to buy. As you peruse the site, remember that we are the most efficient and direct way to artistic green home. Through in-house design, low overhead and efficient management we will construct your project at a cost that will come under the competition. We also love taking on smaller projects through the year employing the design and building virtues that we put into our homes. Decks, patios, garden arbors, screen porches, storage buildings, and timbered entries are but a few of the projects we gladly produce with an artistic touch.
